Cristina Ghetti

Cristina Ghetti is an abstract painter whose work mobilizes the visual languages of art, geometric abstraction, and kinetic art to explore the intersection of perception and reality. Born in Argentina, she lives and works in Valencia, Spain.

Ghetti is interested in interdisciplinary methods and tools. She creates her compositions on a computer, using digital tools to develop images that provoke the mind to perceive things like movement and depth on a static two-dimensional plane. She then translates her compositions into traditional paintings using acrylic on canvas.
