Carlos Maiques

Carlos Maiques (Valencia, 1971) is a visual artist who explores images and their circuits, intervals, and combinations, using various media, but primarily drawing. He holds a degree in Fine Arts and was an Erasmus scholar in Southampton. He received the INJUVE Award in 1999 and the Fundación Divina Pastora Award in 2015. His open workshop, Pareidolia Hipercúbica, was held at IVAM from 2023 to 2024.

Maiques has published with various national and international publishers and has exhibited his work in galleries such as Espai Visor (now 1 Mira Madrid) and Galería Luis Adelantado. His collaborative projects have been displayed at CentroCentro Cibeles (Madrid) and other art spaces. He also collaborates with the cultural association Plutón.
